fanboys do not press the red button

This is just my personal experience and seeing multiple friend’s experiences as well.Įdit: we will also lose clout for having a relationship. So while yes we’re “privileged” in the sense that we’ll get clout just for being a boy, there’s so many negatives as well. I’m not talking about something serious either, I’m talking about a joke, or a funny picture. There’s also double standards, where our followers (girls) will tweet something, it’s like a copy and paste, but when we tweet it, we get shit for it and get attacked. It seems it’s very clear that we’re not getting followers because of our funny tweets but because we just got a dick in our pants and like women.

The followers only like cis straight men, and ive seen fanboys kinda become irrelevant because they came out as trans or gay. The saddest thing I see is that if followers find out I’m not straight (I am), they would unfollow. It’s clear we’re only being dm’d so we can be flirted with, the replies are too friendly if you know what I mean. We’re not going to be your Jeonggukie Oppa.Īnother thing is, the replies and dm’s are gross. ESPECIALLY if we’re asian because the fetishisation is so clear and disgusting. We shouldn’t be getting clout just for being men who like BTS or any other kpop band. Over 100K interactions with my tweet within the first hour according to twitter statistics. I did an experiment where I made a new account, from 0, only followed BTS, and tweeted out something along those lines, and my friend that was a big account (10K-15K at the time) retweeted it.
